Ok this is really beggining to bug me lately.
Why wont ALL wii games give players the option of stating whether they are Left Handed or Right Handed, rather than simply assuming that everyone is Right Handed.
Whilst for most games it's not too bad, for others it has made gaming an absolute nightmare.
Whilst others can use both hands, many can't and I'm afraid terminally left biased.
The game that has ryled me more than others lately is Top Spin 3 - a game that requires the player to use the wii remote on its side with your hand placed in a precise Right Handed manner - one that just does not work for left handed people.
Would it really make that much of an effort for ALL wii games regardless to have in their option settings a simple option for defining your 'handedness'.
We are not allowed to be prejudice about Race, Sex, Disablilty, Sexual Orientation and such...
On a system who's selling point is based pretty much on its control method over anything else, and one which therefore is more intrinsic to 'handedness' than any other - to just assume we are all Right Handed has me really peed.
GIVE ME THE OPTION PLEASE!!!
Before people resond saying "Get over it" - or "adapt" - or "well I can cope so I don't see what the problem is"..
The reality is I shouldn't have to adjust my handedness - it should be taken into account from the offset and I should be presented with the choice and it really isn't that huge amount of programming to do so really either.
I don't begrudge Right People - so please do not begrudge me Nintendo...
