I just upgraded to Lion on my main machine after trying it out for a while on a laptop. One thing I can't seem to figure out is how to change the font size on the sidebar of applications.

For instance, right now I have iPhoto and Mail open. The size of the fonts and graphics in the sidebar of iPhoto is significantly smaller than the fonts and graphics in the sidebar of Mail. Is there any way to reduce the size of the fonts and graphics in Mail to match that of iPhoto? Seems strange that they are different sizes.....

All the settings you are looking for are in the preferences of each application, except for the Finder which can be configured in the system preferences app

I went through the preferences in the Mail app, but only see options for changing the fonts of the messages themselves really. Maybe it just can't be changed?

System Preferences -> General -> Sidebar icon size: (small, medium, large)

Default is medium.

this works for Finder, Mail and I guess all other Lion applications

Excellent! Thank you. Now, besides Mission Control, things are starting to look normal to me again.
