Hi,
Whenever I add folders from external hard drives into the Finder's sidebar as a favourite, those favourites disappear whenever I disconnect the external drive. And they won't reappear when I re-connect the drive either...
I know I could create Aliases inside a folder on the internal HD, and then add that folder to Favourites. But that's not the most elegant solution
Is it possible to modify the Finder (maybe via a Terminal command?), so it keeps favourites from external drives in the sidebar? (Or at least shows them again when that drive is reconnected)?
