Hoping to find some fix for this because the Apple support drones want me to drive to an Apple Store. This was working fine under Monterey (MBP M2) and iPad OS 15 (2017 iPad Pro) without a hiccup. Updated both to the latest (Ventura, iPad OS 16) expecting things to keep on working, and well...it's Apple. Everything gets crippled with a new release. Why do I never learn?

Sidecar keeps disconnecting every 5-10 seconds and eventually the iPad becomes unreachable and times out entirely. It's completely unusable. Yes, they're both connected to the same WiFi network. And they are sitting next to each other so it's not a reception issue (thanks for telling me to try extremely obvious things, Apple "support"!).

What I've tried:
- Restarting both devices multiple times (no change)
- Mac on safe mode (no change)
- Toggling Bluetooth/WiFi on and off (no change)
- Signing in and out of iCloud account (no change, wouldn't expect this to change it since the connection works part of the time)

Hi. I had the same issue. I wiped all contents and settings on my iPad like I was going to give it away, and that solved the problem.

Connected my macBook with iPad by Thunderbolt cable, without any freeze or disconnect in few days.
It was 5-10 times freezed or disconnected before when i was using USB cable. Wi-Fi / BT connection is much worst.
