Sidecar - MacBook Mouse Pointer

With Sidecar on, I can move my mouse pointer just fine using my MacBook touchpad. But it will only "move off" my desktop screen and onto my iPad from the right side of my desktop. When I have my iPad on my left side of my MacBook, I would like the mouse pointer to "leave" from the left side of my desktop and onto my iPad.

Is this possible?
