Sidecar Questions

Am I the only one that has these questions?

1) Sidecar seems to only work with Wi-Fi.
2) Plugging in cable does nothing different.

How do I know?

When I connect to VPN Sidecar fails. It is on Wifi without the VPN.

What good is the cable if it still uses Wi-Fi

Am I missing something?
