Hey,

I have a siemens s55 and a G3 900 iBook. I cannot get iSync to sync with the phone, it just says it can't connect even when its all paired properly. I'm using the latest version of iSync (1.1), OSX 10.2.6, and attempting to connect over bluetooth. I don't have a USB data cable so that's not a possibility either.

Interestingly when i set up the device, the "sync with iSync" option is greyed out, but theres a "manage my phone book with Address Book" but i can't see how to do that either.

I hate to say it, but connecting to the phone on my wintel machine was a whole lot easier!

Any help/suggestions/anti-pc propaganda would be appreciated

MrJ

do you have a firewall running?
what specific error messages are you getting, and when?

more information = more help

Hi, did you ever sort this out?

I just had the same problem, and eventually got it working by updating Bluetooth to v 1.2.1. It also needs isync 1.1 and system 10.2.5 or higher as well.
