Sierra 11 continually prompting for Proxy Auth?

Since upgrading to Safari 11 I continually get prompted for my authentication credentials in Safari. I mean continuously! If I click a link it wants my credentials. Chrome is working fine and does not have this issue. Can anyone assist me in trying to determine why Safari is doing this? It never did this prior to upgrading to 11.
