Been having problems connecting to my apple tv. But theres a workaround, ethernet wired only. I use the apple tv mainly for airplay extended display.
First, turn on the mac first before anything.
Then afterwards turn on the apple tv.
Wait for a while after both units have been turned on. Then you can use airplay smoothly. Little to no delay with a Cat 6 ethernet cable.
I cannot say that this will 100% work because really sometimes airplay is a pain even if wired. But most of the time this will work. If it doesnt work, turn both units off again and start from the beginning.
Hope this could help someone. Or If you know any other workarounds, please share.
