I finally upgraded my 2010 Mac Pro to Sierra, hoping some kinks were worked out. (Yes I have a backup)
The first thing that happened.. my monitor, then PC went to sleep. Since the MP doesn't play nice with my LG monitor, this can't happen.. which is why I had it set to stay awake before. It wouldn't recover from sleep, so I had to hard reset everything. Also noticed my mouse scrolling is all different.
Rebooted and started this post and everything locked with a beach ball. Not looking good.
Why is it so difficult to honor previous settings? It's ******** that Apple overrides stuff like this, I'm sure in the name of energy conservation.
Note: Display is LG 34UM94P
