sierra & Exchange 2016 - no contact pictures

Hi,

anybody expecting issues displaying contact pictures / avatars in OSX Contacts with Exchange 2016?
Before Sierra it was only possible to add new profile pictures for contacts from iDevices, but these have been displayed on OSX El Cap.'s Contacts App. Now, these won't be displayed anymore :-/

Anyone else, any hints to solve this problem?
