Initially I had difficulty getting OS X Sierra Mail working at all. Now I have my very large database functional using OS X Mail program version 10.0. However, I am having difficult taming the Junk mail filter. Email messages are flagged as junk despite (a) the sender being in previous recipients and (b) the sender being in my contact list. This seems to happen routinely. When I check preferences in Mail, it says not to filter if the sender is on contacts or previous recipients (all three boxes checked).

Any ideas how to improve this performance?
