I recently upgraded from a Dell U2713H to an AOC U3277FWQ UHD monitor to have more desktop real estate to work with. Unfortunately, neither my Mac mini (Late 2012) nor my 13" MacBook Pro (Early 2015) seem to like the 3840x2160 resolution very much, as both devices have substantial rendering issues:
(note that this is one of the "better" cases, as sometimes the menu bar and the system preferences don't show anything except a grey surface).
I connected both devices with a MiniDP - DP cable, which was working just fine in combination with a AMD HD 7850 and Windows 8.1, so it's definitely a software issue. Also, I'm aware of the fact that the late 2012 Mac mini doesn't officially support UHD, but my early 2015 rMBP does and still has the same issues. Both devices run macOS 10.12.6.
Do you have any idea what is going wrong and how I can fix it?
