I have a Macbook Pro I am working on and it will not boot past the white screen....tired everything. About the only thing I can get it to do is boot into hardware test and everything there checks out OK. Now, to my question. Is there anyway I can do an offline download of Sierra and then create a bootable USB drive on my Windows 10 computer for use on that Macbook Pro? i.e. to boot from the USB and do the installation.
I have already tried the Recovery installation on the Macbook Pro and doesn't work, tried all the different boot time Keys and key combos and nothing works...so as a last ditch effort, I thought i would try this...if it can even be done.
