Installed Sierra OS no problem on my mid-2011 MBA, everything works really well (including CAT tool v2.3 for hand off!) EXCEPT cannot for the life of me get photos to sync with iCloud. Tried selecting, deselecting, signing out, signing in, restarting, etc., and every time I try again, I get "Updating… " with no progress over 24 hours. My 16k+photo library is intact on my iPhone (running iOS 10.12b2). Any fixes, suggestions, would be greatly appreciated!
PS- Only anecdotal observation I can offer is that the "Calculating size of photo library" flashes on for a second, then disappears before "Updating appears and then zzzzzz.....

RESOLVED! Reinstalled Sierra, rebuilt photo library, signed in and out of iCloud, then bam!
