Sierra Raid 1 to Mojave Raid?

I took my Raid 1 drives from my Sierra Mac Pro and wanted to transplant them into an enclosure to plug into my 2018 Mini. I keep getting initialization errors and cannot load the drives from an external caddy.
How should I go about loading this Raid to rebuild it into the new 2 bay enclosure?

Figured I'd update this as I solved my own problem after much trial and error.
1. Force mounted the drive in Terminal
2. Cloned the drive to an external drive
3. Cloned back the data onto the original Raid 1 drives
4. Let it rebuild and Spotlight itself
