I travel a lot and all my numbers are saved on Outlook with a "+" sign as prefix before the country code (+49 9532 2355 for Germany), so when I am abroad I do not have to worry about to add 00, or 001 manually, depending on the country I am in.

Question:
When using my iphone and calling abroad with this "+" prefix, I do not get a connection. The operator comes on and declares this number as not existing!

sms's and inland calls with the "+" prefix do not seem to be a problem!

Any suggestions on the cause of this problem?

Thanks a lot in advance!
