The smartest of all smart phones can't deliver what? With all the features that the iPhone has, it can't do what 90% of all cell phones can - send MMS.

We, the loyal AT&T customers, are petitioning AT&T to immediately enable MMS for all iPhone customers on their network. It's available everywhere in the world except on AT&T's network in the US.

AT&T can no longer blame Apple for this. For as much as we have paid for the phone & service and for all the patience we have shown over the 2 years we've been waiting for this feature...

We don't want to hack or modify our phones just to have what all other carriers & cell phones can easily do.

PLEASE ENABLE MMS NOW!!!
 
You are aware that this will do NOTHING, right? AT&T isn't providing instant MMS due to the fact that they can't upgrade a nation of iPhones to a new service that easily. It isn't a "flick a switch" upgrade, you know.

Hell, why would they deny themselves money from people wanting to pay for the plan?

Again, this will do nothing. AT&T is preparing it, they'll have it out once it's prepared.

Damn impatient Americans.

we are already paying for it in our text package:rolleyes:

as for it doing nothing, ATT did allow many to early upgrade as a result of an "uproar"

I think waiting 2 years is plenty patient. They should have been ready and clearly people are able to hack files w/o calling AT&T so they could easily just stop blocking it. It isn't a "flick" of a switch but maybe, just maybe, they will move up the roll out date.

hey... look at it this way:

AT&T listened to people bitching about not having an upgrade on their account, and changed it for some people to upgrade at no additional cost.

This could be one of those things that they listen to.

AT&T is blaming Apple for the delay of MMS?? It's a news to me.

Besides, it's not like AT&T is refusing to provide MMS; they are promising to work things out asap. I am not sure if this petition would make any difference.

...it says that "MMS support coming from AT&T in late summer."


It sounds like it's on its way...am I missing something?
