Hello there i've just brought my iphone from ebay and have recieved it yesterday (Yey!). Im from the UK and having trouble as I'm not recieving any signal on my iphone,meaning that i can not recieve or send calls/messages. Everything else seems to works fine. (iphone is up todate + connected to itunes and done settings aswell)
The Iphone is locked to orange so i'm using my old orange simcard which i made it into a micro sim. Upon switching on the phone it shows a message on my iphone saying "awaiting activation, this could take a while". (note it shows orange beside the signal bar which doesnt have any bars on.)
Can anyone please help. Hopefully I havent been con into buying a dodgy iphone.
I've now solved the problem.
