signature link [in Mail app]

can someone remind me how i add a link to the little icons in my signature in apple mail, like i have the twitter symbol and i want to have a link associated with it so people can click on it and go to my twitter page. i did it before, but there is no way it's coming back to me.

You can't have images in your signature. Read the rules, I think it is there, then ask in the site and forum feedback section.
