Not a major problem but more of a " want to throw the silly thing across the room because you have asked me to do this 3 times and all I want to do is download a simple ,free dictionary " problem.:D

Is there any way to sign in once and once only when trying to download an app from the App Store or when updating other apps.

Currently if I have ,for example ,5 apps to update I have to sign in 5 times.

iPad 2 running the latest OS 7 point whatever.

Thanks

What? Something is not right. You shouldn't have to sign in at all to update apps. For purchase, once you sign in, that sign in should remain valid for some time, I think 15 minutes.

First, I'd go to Settings > iTunes and Apps Store, log out and log back in. I'd also check under that section for any settings regarding sign in frequency.

Then, I'd go through Settings > General > Restrictions, to see if there are any weird restrictions turned on.
