Not sure where to post this question. Every once in a while when opening Safari (and maybe Opera), I get a popup asking me to sign in to either Google or Gmail. I always disregard these prompts as I'm worried about tracking, etc. Apparently my wife did sign in and now she gets sale promotions almost ever time she opens her gmail. Is there anyway to turn this crap off?

If it automatically prompts your Safari, as soon as you open it, to sign in to google, you're either on a scam site or you aren't using Safari.

I would recommend using a spam filter to block these messages on your wives' gmail.
