I've been using a Lacie Networkspace 2 as a backup/NAS for the past six months or so. Alas, we had an electrical here last night which tripped the main circuit breaker.
Everything has come back fine once the power was restored. Except, as you can guess from the thread title, the Lacie.
All is fine on my PC laptop running Windows 7.
But both my Mac Mini and my Macbook Air (Snow Leopards) are unable to mount the network drive. They can see it, and I can mount the USB portion, but not the main partition.
The drive is also suddenly noisy.
Fortunately, I was able to back it up via the PC.
But I'm assuming after the other threads here that I should fear the worst?
