can the iphone read a tmobile sim card? can i restore my txt msgs and phone contacts from my sim to my iphone?? if so how? thanks!
 
No, the iPhone is technically carrier locked. Yes, it can be jailbroken and then unlocked, but you need special software for this, and sometimes a special SIM card. I would recommend you check the forums or Google to get an exact procedure.
