Is there a way to quickly silence the phone alerts - including the vibrations - while still allowing the watch to alert you? One of my favorite things about the watch is how much I have slimmed down my notifications to the point where I only get the tap on the wrist, but my phone often still buzzes in my pocket for other things, and I am still conditioned to wonder what that notification is.

Unfortunately if I enable do not disturb on the phone, it extends that to the watch. Any other solutions?

There is a setting in do not disturb to not mirror your iPhones setting. So you can enable it independently.

Thank you! That was sure buried where I was not finding it.

Another option would be to turn off vibrate on silent on your phone.

Use the silent switch to enable it. Hardware is quicker than software. :D

Thanks. That's actually what I've ended up doing. I thought I wanted to keep the vibrate option available, but realized the times I might want the phone to vibrate and I don't have my watch on are non-existent.
