Curious whether using SilentKnight for occassional software updates such MRT is OK to do or not on cMPs running OpenCore (specifically either @cdf OC guide and related @h9826790 OC package).

I don't initiate full macOS updates from within SilentKnight, I only do occasional minor updates like MRT from it without issues. Could this conflict/break OC in any way?

I'm interested in this, as well. Does anyone know whether or not it's safe to use "Silent Knight" on an OpenCore hackintosh? I am trying to stay current on my OpenCore installation, and this is a great tool for staying up to date on the latest Apple update releases for individual components.

Is it better to just let Apple's "Software Update" utility do updates in the background without knowing exactly what they are updating?
