The song is called "Shut Up and Let Me Go" by UK band The Ting Tings and it's already available on US iTunes.

Nice ad and song. The only thing I don't like about the iPod ads is they don't tell what song it is (on the TV versions)!

i just saw it on NBC after law and order SVU... great that there going back to the old school commericals

Apple can't go wrong with these TV/billboard advertisements. They are brilliantly well made and crazy catchy. I'd like to start seeing these more often again. iPod needs to stay the top must have #1 device for music.

Pretty nice...the paul mccartney one was better but this is still good.

Seriously? I found that one boring and Sir Paul looked sad. On the other hand, this ad brought life and catchy color. Love it and may purchase the song later.

Looks like this is the first one to feature the iPod Touch. :D Look at all of their iPods, the headphones are coming out of the bottum. ;)

Did the dancer fall accidentally?

I think so.

Doing so many takes and directing them to be creative/expressive/inventive with their dancing - it's easy to see lots of outtakes happening, and that was a good call by the editor to use that mess-up. I felt it added a little personality/fun.

I really liked the music.

The colors/geometric shapes show that design from the 80's is starting to be able to be recycled in fresh ways. I'm not a fan of the 80's design aesthetic, but it that doesn't mean I didn't like Apple's take on it, or the ad itself.

From reading the prior comments, I guess I'm in the minority here, but I watched the ad and was thinking it looked kind of dated. Not old enough in style to be "old school" cool, but old enough to not be fresh any more.

If the ads work, great, but their nothing I'll get excited about anymore.

I was thinking to myself: "Which iPod is that?" Because none of them are white now. I figured they just kept using a white iPod because it's iconic.

Ya, even though it is obviously the touch which is not white, it would be really really stupid to change the color. It is the defining brand of iPods.
