I tried to search but probably used the wrong terms.

I have a space gray aluminum AW S0 that is about 14 months old. We have several bands (two AW S0 wearers in the household) but my green silicon band (not aftermarket, genuine Apple band) will not snap in, on just one of two sides (the side with the pin). Other silicon bands and just other bands in general will snap in just fine.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I cant find my blue silicon band, my white band is not looking so white anymore and I am tired of wearing yellow.

I'll search but any tips on cleaning the silicon bands would also be helpful, any reason not to try the dishwasher?

As I was about to post this I thought to myself that I needed to try it out on the other AW in the household. I have not tried that yet.

Thank you for the tip on the magic eraser, I'll give that a shot!

The only other thing I can think of is if one of the lugs on the sport band is not seating properly or is uneven when it's trying to make contact with the band port. This happened to me once, but I was able to adjust the lug where it snapped in the place properly.

Does the band not slide into the slot?

Or does the little button on the band not pop into the hole in the watch body?

Can you press the button in and out like the buttons on the other bands do?

Three things need to happen to get it to fit and stay attached --
- The lug end slides freely into the watch body
- The button "catch" on the band needs to be pushed by its spring and the rounded hump on the opposite side
- The button needs to align with the hole in the watch body

(no pics at the moment; my AW isn't with me)

I have a woven nylon strap that works fine with my S0 but slides straight through when I try to use it with my S3. All my other straps work just fine in both.
