Silicon Keyboards

I'm interested in those roll-up silicon keyboards. I've never seen one in a store, but I see them online... so

Have you tried one?

Are they decent?

Im not sure if its the same keyboard you are mentioning but I had a friend that tried out a 'virtually indestructible keyboard'. It was also made of what seemed like soft rubber that could be rolled up.

Basically he hated it and said the keys were simply unresponsive and had to be hit almost dead on to get them to register on the computer. He returned it the next day.

You mean an external keyboard right? Not that rubbery thing that you place on it.

yeah, I meant the external ones... but it sounds like I would expect them to work - not very well... I guess I'll stick with the solid ones for now.
