I've a 13 Pro Max and I'd been using a CASEKII Magnetic Slim hard case that worked well with my MagSafe mount in my car. However I found the case too easy to slip in the hand so decided to buy a Silicone MagSafe case, and so bought an Elago Magnetic Silicone Case. The physical grip is fine but the MagSafe "grip" is quite poor. Attaching to the MagSafe mount you can tell it doesn't have that magnetic snap the hard case had. On a moderately bumpy road the phone is prone to start twisting on the mount and easily falls off.

So my holy grail is a silicone case that works better with MagSafe, does it exist?

Some silicone cases have MagSafe magnets in them and some do not. Just make sure to get one with the magnet.

Ended up getting an official Apple silicone case and it works just fine, not had it detach on a pothole yet. Managed to get it 20% off through Amazon.

The official Apple cases work really well. I use a MagSafe wallet & it always feels secure & firm. Same with the battery pack.
