silicone plug protector for the headphone/headset jack

If there is, I hope they sell them cheaply and in quantities of more than one. I'd likely go through a ton of them (meaning I would lose them right and left!)

I would like to see a headphone adapter that is designed to fit flush around the sides of the phone, nice and smooth like so you can keep it plugged in all the time... Unlike the current adapters on the market.
