sill issues with siri????

Strange Siri activity
Mine was working just fine at home on WiFi, drove to my mothers house to show off Siri as well as do some laptop work for her and Siri decides to be shy and not even speak.
Every time I hold the home button or lift to speak, the Mic icon circles, listens but then She doesn't repeat the question or even answer. The mic icon just spins & spins.
I'm not even getting the "I'm sorry cant connect to network" as before when the server was overloaded.
It's strange, it's doing the dictation though everything I'm saying at this moment is coming from Siri.
