Hey guys;

This is gonna seem like a really stupid quetion to lots of you I'm sure, but could you walk me through how to set my iPhone 3G to ONLY vibrate when I get a text message and not play any sounds? Sorry if this is really easy, but I've tried.

And now, for one of the funniest short jokes I've heard in a long time:

Q: Why did Snoop Dog need an umbrella?
A: Fo Drizzle!

Sorry :rolleyes:

settings > sounds > slide switch to off for text message sounds
make sure vibrate is on for normal

the joke is... odd ;)

Thanks a lot for the help, although that's how it's been set up, and to my knowledge, it hasn't been vibrating when I receive messages. Does it only vibrate when it's not in use, assuming that I get the visual pop up and I don't need a vibrate?

And awful as in a groaner, or just plain awful? ;)

Just a groaner. I'd throw a tomato at you, but nothing more.

LOL! Yeah, it's a groaner alright, but I like the spirit. That should be a requirement from now on. If you don't include a joke with the question, no one is allowed to answer.
