Hi, i have a new imac and i migrated my data from my older MBP. Everything is ok, but i do have this empty old home folder. I think i'm going crazy asking this, but, there is no harm in trashing this folder....right?

thanks

nope, if you dont care whats on it might as well trach it. But might as well be safe than sorry, the iMac does have a 500gb or larger hard drive.

There isnt anything at all in the folder. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some strange need for it before I trash it

IF there is really nothing in it it is safe to delete , but check for hidden files first to make sure its empty

I enable the "show invisible items" option in cocktail and still nothing showed up in this folder. is this an acceptable way to verify that there is nothing hidden in this folder? if so, I should be able to delete now, right?

thanks
