With the great frequency of Mac OS releases, they are running out of cats to name future ones after....

I wonder what they will resort to next?

But the bigger question: what family of animals will they use when they release OS XI. Dogs? Birds? Fish? Will there be a OS XI?

Too bad windows doesnt imply the same naming scheme
they could have used the names of venereal diseases for their layout

windows xp herpes edition
the persistant virus

windows warts edition
the virus that makes rust and alkali deposits form on your motherboard

well according to wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Jobs

"In an interview in the book What the Dormouse Said: How the 60s Counterculture Shaped the Personal Computer Industry, Steve Jobs talks about how taking LSD was "one of the two or three most important things he has done in his life".

and

"in Apple’s early days, wishing to surround himself with people of a similar mindset, Jobs would often ask job applicants about their sexual histories and how many times they had taken LSD.

so i think the next OS should be names of acid

For cat names, there was this thread on the forum some time ago.

Liger LOL!

Liger. Love it. "It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic. "
