I don't have an iPhone 4 (thank God!)...

But since I've heard you just need to isolate the skin from the metal...

If you took cellophane tape, ("Scotch" tape) and wrapped it around the phone and trimmed it against the metal frame with a razor blade, does that work?

If so, all Apple needs to do is put a coating over the metal and move on.

Apple has stated today that the issue is related to software, however.

How can a physics problem be solved by software?

Recall the iPhone 1 or 2?... the AT&T bars were 1-3 all over the place until Apple "recalibrated" it through a software update and a 3 became a 5 and a 1 a 3.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

Silly answer...poodles.

wow! How are you not getting paid the big bucks working in Apples R/D?? Thoughts on how to stop the oil spill in the gulf?? Maybe they should just turn the knob to the right huh?
