Ive searched for threads and can't seem to find any.
I've had a rough couple days here.

The basics:
I'm running 10.5.4, off an intel pro.
I have 2 external drives for backup and media files.

I was using one of them (call it drive #1) with Silverkeeper until time machine was out and ready to use. I then got another drive (#2).

I chained the new 2nd drive off of #1 and set the new drive to work as the timemachine one. In retrospect I should have told the new drive to be a time machine for the 1st older drive that was using silverkeeper. Instead, I told the new drive to back up my HD.

Since I did this, all of my new music projects have been overwritten. I understand that I should have told the new drive to back up the older one instead of my HD, but why on earth would the files that I had been working on since I got the new drive just be gone???

They were all there before I plugged in the new drive to start time machine. I did a full back up of my HD, came back a few hours later and the 6 specific folders are gone.

Silverkeeper must have done something?

any help is appreciated.
thanks
