Silverlight help new force trackpad macbook

Hello everyone I'm not quite sure what I'm doing as I've never had a mac before but just bought the new MacBook Pro with force touch trackpad. I am trying to download silverlight plugin for sky go ect. Anyone know were I can download this plugin from safely. The Microsoft site isn't working. Also any other plugins or apps ect would be great thanks for anyone that helps in advance thanks

I have seen this but was told that macupdate.com links were full of malware and virus's. Is this true I'm jst very wary as don't want to damage my macbook as only got it a few days ago. Thanks for your reply mate

You were told WRONG! MacUpdate is clean it's just CNET's Download.com is full of Mac Trojans.
