Went to Verizon with an appointment. The only one available was the check in person, at least 15 people in the store, most with no appointment, two techies. I explained that my 5g sim card needed to be activated. So in 30 minutes she got it done, between having her lunch and setting appointment times for those who wandered in while I was standing.

Anyway, got the 5G installed and... it said 5G until I got home 2 miles a way, back to 4G. But it works. Rain today. I can use the computer instead. The techie I had said, the 4g only works for a short time in my 12 Pro before logging off. I doubt that, but anyway, here we are.

Now to find a decent case

I too am with Verizon and have the 12 Pro Max. For the most part, mine show 5G more than LTE. It will switch back and forth while moving about, even in your house. As long as you don’t see no service you should be good. I honestly believe I made the right choice in buying the 12 Pro Max.
