Can I get a sim card for my 1st gen IPhone from ATT?....kept it as a back up but want to give to my niece....didnt know if ATT would give me a hard time or not....anyone ever do this....thanks

You should be able to without any problems. They could charge you for the SIM card though (others can vouch for that).

I've gone to the AT&T store and asked for 3 cards at a time telling them I needed to activate some old iPhones. I have never been charged for them.

Thanks!

Appreciate the info....on my way to ATT store now....hoping to help my niece get it activated....she tried to switch out her sim card from her current phone but it says it doesn't support that type of sim....so gotta go get her a new sim card....
