Yesterday, I decided to update my iPhone software from 2.x to 4.0. To do this I had to install iTunes 9.2 so I installed it. But then when it was getting ready to update my iPhone, it stopped and now my iPhone has no service and its stuck at a screen with a a picture of it connecting to iTunes and "Slide for emergency" at the bottom. When I connect it to iTunes, on my computer screen it says SIM card not compatible with iPhone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

My 3G is doing the same thing. I already went to apple and got a new phone because of this. When I went to restore the contacts and hooked it back up to itunes9.2. The ***** thing went back to that same mode. Now I have to trek back to the apple store again.
