I have been trying to unlock my iPhone and have been able to jailbreak it using iNdependence, but when I try and activate, it says that there is no sim card inserted. I went back to iTunes and the phone won't come up because "sim car is not installed. You must insert your SIM card into your iPhone in order to activate it." Any thoughts? There is only one possible way to insert the sim card, right? Thanks for your help.

I figured it out, the phone was in airplane mode so it wasn't recognizing the sim. Made a fake emergency call and it turned off the airplane mode. I am now using my iPhone on Digicel in Grenada, West Indies.
