Hi All.

When I opened my AT&T iPhone 6s plus box, I couldn't find that little metal device that you use to open the SIM card tray (the thing that basically takes the place of a paper clip). Am I missing it or are these no longer being included?

Thanks!

These are not included in general. Only a couple AT&T models in the past have included them. Unlocked non-carrier specific phones should have them. Personally I buy a handful of them on eBay so I have them for when I need them.

The haven't been included for a long time with the exception of ones that are marketed as unlocked. A straightened paperclip will work fine instead though.

The only way you can get them is by either purchasing an unlocked, sim free, non carrier specific phone or by getting an express replacement from Apple.

I rant to Target this morning and bought 10,000 paperclips or something for $2, and they work fantastically. They're in the art/crafts department.
