I have a quick question that has been asked before but I can't find it searching through the forum.

I just sold my 3G and have the sim card from it, I have an old cingular/AT&T phone that I want to use until I can find an IP4 to buy, if I pop the sim card in the old phone will it affect my AT&T data contract at all? I'm grandfathered and I don't want to risk losing the grandfathered status "if" AT&T sees me using a non iPhone phone.

Sorry again for what I'm sure is a repeat question, just couldn't find the answer.

Thanks

No, using your sim card in a non-iPhone will not cancel your data package. I sold my iPhone 3GS on June 13th and used 2 non-iPhones between then and iPhone 4 launch day with no problems.
