Sim card question (new to iphone)

I have signed up for the upgrade plan, and have my reservation time on Friday like everyone else. My question is - does the iphone come with a sim card installed? I have an android with a nano sim now, but the person I'm going with has an older phone with a micro sim. Do they need to go get a nano sim from Verizon ahead of time, or since I had to pick Verizon when making the reservation they will come pre-installed? Thank you.

as far as the information right now, it comes with the sim card installed and you have to give your account information to the apple rep and he will activate the iphone for you!
