I just ordered my son a new Iphone 4 in white. I already have the Iphone 4 in black. After I activate his phone can he and I just switch sims cards so that he has the black and I have the white?

Thanks

It's not a good idea, to do that without notifying your carrier.

The cellular network will recognize you have a different unique identifier for each phone and they will think you are up to something. (stolen phone?)

So to avoid a problem, just be sure to call them and have them activate the two phones with the proper names attached and numbers recorded.

Cheers :)

All 3 of our Iphones are in my name. There is no way for ATT to know who has what phone. It has been that way for the last 10 years that I have been a customer of ATT.
