can you take the SIM out, where is it, and put it in another unlocked phone for those situations like partying where you dont want to take your iphone

I was curious about this too. I would like to just try and put it in my unlocked SE K700, but I'm afraid that for some reason it wouldn't work correctly when I put it back in my iPhone. I have absolutely no basis in knowledge to believe this would happen, but I'm hesitant to mess with the iPhone SIM.

considering that you can not use other SIM cards in the iPhone, I would assume it would be the same the other way around. I have not tried it or heard/seen anyone who has tried though.

Piece of cake to remove the SIM. You really should get the user's manual from Apple's site.

I used a pushpin. The SIM tray is on the top of the phone. Push the pin in firmly, the tray will move out a little. I then used the push pin to hook the hole and then pull the tray out.

I tried a couple different SIMs and grabbed some pictures of the results, didn't get anywhere, yet...as expected.
