I was wondering if you could use ANY sim card of the designated carrier on your iPhone as, since the dawning of the iPhone UK release is imminent, I am interested in purchasing. It is likely that the iPhone will come out on multiple carriers over here, or (If the rumours are correct), could import a German T-Mobile one and use my current T-Mobile SIM...

But can you use ANY SIM from the carrier with your iPhone? Mine is a "Relaxed Pay As You Go" Sim Card (T-Mobile doesn't even offer this anymore, which shows how old it is!) and I would like to keep using that plan as I HATE monthly contracts (Considering I never really use my phone anyway...).
I haven't looked into this, so sorry if I'm asking something that's been answered pretty obviously elsewhere but I came here first because, I guess, I'm lazy... and the broad range of feedback is be great.
So anyway, do you think my iPhone (if T-Mobile is supported) will be able to accept my SIM and be able to use all capabilities with it?
