SIM Cloning and the 3G iPad

Has anyone tried SIM cloning their iPhone sim card and putting that sim in the 3G ipad?

I'd be interested if a product like this: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12447 would work. For under $10 I may just give it try. Seems to good to be true to use my iPhone data plan with the iPad

Need it to be a microsim.

A regular sim converts to microsim with some minor alterations!

However, sim cloning is thoroughly against the law here in the us. Not to mention that if you ever let the devices register on the network simultaneously your account will be toast.
