Hi,

I have a jailbroken and unlocked iphone (firmware 2.2). It has been working fine for 3 months. Only one day when trying to sync it I got a itunes error message prompting me to change sim card as the one I had was not compatible to activate the iphone (?). I quit itunes and restarted it and everything was fine again. 2 days ago everytime I try to sync I get this message again and no matter what I do I get the error message and eventhough the iphone works perfectly I am unable to sync it.

I have tried syncing with plane mode, disabling airport, reinstalling itunes but can't. I will try tomorrow with a apple approved sim card... my question is... why do I get this message? Have I accidentally hit "upgrade" or "activate". I can't remember doing so... the only thing I recall doing was changing the device's name (?) Thanx
